Cincinnati, May 12 2022: The Resource Management Institute, dedicated to the advancement of resource and workforce management thought leadership, has concluded their 2022 Resource Management Global Symposium in Dallas, Texas with resource and workforce management professionals from 75 companies and 10 countries in attendance. The theme of the Symposium, “Future Proofing Resource Management,” recognized the growing acceptance of good resource and workforce management discipline and therefore the need to build sustainable capabilities to take the enterprise into the future.

Resource management experts and practitioners from around the globe attended the RMI’s third Symposium to learn new approaches, collaborate with peers and industry experts, and innovate with the very latest in resource management research and best practices. Breakout sessions were designed for project-based service delivery organizations serving external customers such as, Professional and Consulting Services, Marketing and Creative Agencies, and Accounting, Audit, Tax and Advisory firms, as well as organizations serving internal customers, such as Enterprise/IT and Product Development organizations.

“After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, we came roaring back with 20% growth in this years’ event attendance versus our 2019 event,” said RMI Managing Director Randy Mysliviec. “Given current market conditions including labor shortages, the great resignation, growth of the gig workplace, and more, executives and practitioners from 75 different companies heard from industry experts and collaborated on best practices in resource and workforce management.”

RMI Managing Director, Randy Mysliviec, opened the Symposium with a keynote presentation on the Five Steps to Future Proofing Resource Management. Throughout the two-day event, attendees heard from other industry leaders sharing their expertise and explored topics that included resource management in an agile environment, leveraging alternative sourcing strategies, maximizing the use of technology in resource management, employee engagement, and a continued focus on building the global resource management community.
