About RMCP®

RMCP® is first-of-its-kind certified professional skills development program specifically designed for Resource Managers. RMCP® is a comprehensive program that includes pre-requisite study material, certification training via either a three (3) day in-person, six (6) virtual instructor-led online sessions, or pre-recorded on-demand curriculum that includes practical case study exercises, and certification exam. After passing the exam, participants are granted the RMCP® credential and join the ranks of over 1,300 RMCPs worldwide.

RMCP® Class Options

  • In-person RMCP® classroom sessions are taught over three days at our offices in Cincinnati, Ohio and West Palm Beach, FL.
  • In-person sessions provide the best opportunity for students to interact and network with their peers going through RMCP® at the same time.

  • Virtual instructor-led RMCP® classes are taught virtually over the course of six 2-hour sessions.
  • Virtual instructor-led sessions include a live instructor and opportunities to engage with your fellow participants during each class session.

  • Our on-demand RMCP® option is comprised of 32 pre-recorded modules that run anywhere from a few minutes to approximately 30 minutes, depending on the module. Total run-time is 8 1/2 hours.
  • Participants have convenient access to all learning modules through the RMI’s learning management system 24X7.
  • All modules and the certification exam must be completed within 90 days from registration.

RMCP® Certification Process

  • Exams are administered at the conclusion of the certification program
  • Exam results are provided immediately after completing the exam
  • Certification will be active for 2 years
  • 20 PCUs will need to be earned to qualify for recertification
  • Recertification can also be achieved by retaking the exam

$1,995 on-site classroom program and online instructor led sessions; $1,895 on-demand program

Cancellation Policy: $250 of the associated program fee is a non-refundable registration fee.  Program fees (less registration fee) will be refunded if cancellation is more than seven days before the first class session or the first on-demand module has been started. Program and registration fees will not be refunded if cancellation is on or after seven (7) days before the event.

RMCP® Credential Benefits

After passing the examination, you are granted the RMCP® credential; you may refer to yourself as an RMCP® credential holder as long as you have an active certification status
You will receive the RMI’s Certification Package which includes: credential certificate and RMCP® number, access to the RMCP® logo for business use, access to other RMCP® tools including the Resource Center and the RMI Community – the online venue where resource management professionals can network and collaborate
