RMI Announces Keynote Speakers and Sessions for Inaugural Resource Management Global Symposium

Two days of sessions will focus on building resource management processes, tools and functions to position your organization for success

Cincinnati, May 31, 2018: The Resource Management Institute, dedicated to the advancement of resource and workforce management thought leadership, today announced the speaker lineup and sessions for its first annual Resource Management Global Symposium Oct. 3rd – 4th at the Dallas Hilton Anatole hotel in Dallas, Texas.

RMI Managing Director Randy Mysliviec will kick off the symposium with the first keynote on the “State of Resource Management”. Covering the latest in resource management research, trends and best practices, the presentation will address the challenges companies face in cost effectively managing human capital deployed for project-based work in Professional, Consulting, and Enterprise/IT services.

Mysliviec is the author and innovator of the Just-in-Time Resourcing® brand of human capital management solutions. He is also the president and CEO of RTM Consulting, which specializes in global resource management, project and portfolio management and services business optimization.

“With the service economy growing at a rapid pace, companies are challenged with efficient management of their largest cost line item – human capital,” Mysliviec said. “The Resource Management Global Symposium will give those responsible for resource management in their companies insights on best practices and tools needed to enable hyper-effective management of human capital leading to better project and economic outcomes.”

Donna Fitzgerald, previously a Gartner analyst for 10 years helping IT organizations improve project performance, will host the second keynote, “The Softer Side of Resource Management: Unleashing Innovation and Creativity in Your Workforce.” With survey data showing that only about 30% of employees are fully engaged in their job, this session will cover how companies can help improve employee engagement with best practices to assign work in a way that unleashes innovation and creativity.
