Ryan Childers

Ryan is the Managing Director of the Resource Management Institute. With specific expertise in Global Resource Management, Ryan was an early adopter and implementer of the Just-in-Time Resourcing® brand of human capital management solutions. His passion for the resource management discipline is central to his role leading this important industry institute. Prior to leading the RMI, Ryan spent several years leading the Training practice at RTM Consulting, a role he maintains today, and as a consultant, helping clients accelerate growth and implement operational best practices, delivery methodologies and Just-in-Time Resourcing®. Ryan holds a Master’s degree in Information Communication Sciences and a Bachelor’s in Management from Ball State University.

Nick Cochran

Nick is a Director for the Resource Management Institute and brings over 15 years of experience in services strategy, operations, delivery, and management. He has led teams responsible for enterprise software implementations, consulting, training development and delivery, and managed services. Nick was an early adopter of the Just-in-Time Resourcing® brand of human capital management solutions, was a student in the first-ever RMCP® class in 2014 and is now a lead instructor for the program. A frequent speaker at RMGS and other industry associations, Nick holds an MBA and a BS in Business Management from Anderson University.

Greg Hensley

Greg is a Director for the Resource Management Institute and brings over 20 years of enterprise software leadership experience building professional service offers and delivery teams that span the healthcare, mortgage, and financial services markets. Prior to joining the RMI, Greg served as Resource Management Director at ICE Mortgage Technology where he developed the RMO and managed the resource partner network. He is now a lead instructor of the RMI’s RMCP® certification program. Greg holds a Master’s in Information Communication Sciences and a Bachelor’s in Human Resources and Information Technology Management from Ball State University.

David Binnings

David Binnings is the Sr. Director, GTM Services Strategy and Operations for DocuSign supporting the Professional Services and Customer Success organization. With over 20 years’ experience in Professional Services and Support spanning across various industries, he has held positions in Leadership, Resource Management, Program/Project Management, Operations, and Consulting. These unique perspectives have allowed David to build and transform Resource Management organizations to meet the ever-changing landscape of today’s Services businesses. David has a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, a Master’s in Business Administration, and holds both PMP® and RMCP® certifications.

Nicole Steele

Nicole is AAFCPAs’ Resource & Operations Manager, responsible for ensuring the firm has the right professionals in place to deliver exceptional client service. She plays a critical role in aligning talent with client needs, helping teams meet deadlines efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards.
She oversees capacity planning and scheduling across the firm, forecasting project needs and ensuring engagements are staffed with the right balance of expertise. Her approach optimizes efficiency while supporting work-life balance. She also collaborates with AAFCPAs’ Talent Management team to track performance, ensuring teams are equipped to handle complex engagements. Nicole holds an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University and a BBA from Salem State University, graduating magna cum laude. She leverages her 20+ years of business consulting and management experience to help clients improve their PS operations, global resource management functions and PMOs.  Her work includes helping clients to identify process issues and operational inefficiencies that inform the development of recommendations and strategies to drive improvements and help customers meet their targeted objectives.

Jody Townsend

Jody is the Resource Management Senior Service Line Lead for the Advisory practice at CohnReznick, a firm specializing in advisory, assurance, and tax services. With 15 years of experience in operations, HR, project management, and resource management, she is passionate about process implementation and efficiency.
Currently, Jody leads a global team and has spent the last five years building and leading the Advisory practice’s resource management function. She oversees its maturity progression, aiming to become a valued strategic partner to the business. Jody takes pride in leading a high-performing team, identifying teaching moments for development, collaborating with key stakeholders and the other essential partners to the business, and innovating processes that drive impactful results in efficient staffing, achieving utilization goals, and capacity planning.
Most recently, she has collaborated with the Tax and Assurance RM service line leaders to foster a data-driven decision-making culture, implement a firm wide skills database and standardize processes to drive efficiencies across the Resource Management Office (RMO).
