Purpose-Built SaaS: The Key to Unlocking The Power Of Resource Management
In the world of professional services, every moment and every resource counts. And this is where resource management (RM) plays a critical role in ensuring that team members are used to their fullest potential without burning them out.
Why Resource Managers and Project Managers Need To Come Together In a Shared Community Of Practice
Project managers need to be responsible for managing the project team as well as scope and schedule. Resource managers, on the other hand, should be managing the careers and work assignments of the individuals who will be part of a specific project team. If you’ve ever seen this done well, it’s pretty impressive.
Business Benefits of Value-driven Resource Management
Value-driven resource management is integral for ensuring business profitability. It allows managers to unleash the maximum potential of the resource pool and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Our last RMCP® spotlight of 2021 shines on N.Nakkeren, Senior IT Resource Manager at Shell. One of his favorite hobbies is learning continuously by: reading books (you won’t believe the size of his home library), attending external seminars over the weekends, and preparing for exams (he has already acquired 19 global certifications).
RMGS 2022 is scheduled for April 28 – 29 in Dallas, TX. Our theme for the Symposium is Future Proofing Resource Management. The theme recognizes the growing acceptance of good resource management discipline and therefore the need to build sustainable capabilities to take the enterprise into the future. The 2022 Symposium will again be expanded and enhanced with more content choices, advanced topics for more experienced resource management professionals, and expanded networking opportunities with industry peers.
